Blogging - Different Methods of Using Blogs

Blogging is a great form of communication and is used in many different ways on the Internet. There are many types of blogs. Media blogs, genre blogs, legal status of publisher's blogs, as well as blog search engines. Video blogs (vblogs) are simply blogs that encompass videos, photo logs hold many different photos, and sketchbooks are a site that includes a portfolio of sketches.

Genre blogs are blogs that pertain to certain subjects. This can be a broad range of subjects including, politics, world events, particular news events (like the Iraqi War), fashion, sports, computers, etc. These probably are the most common in that people are more aware of them. Most blogs appear as private; however, some companies are realizing the importantance of blogs in this generation and are branching on board. They are using blogs as an internal communication enhancement as well as a marketing form. Either way, it plays into the technology of today's society and ensures that the organization is with the current trends.

Many blog search engines are around the Internet and are known as blogosphere. This blogoshpere fall under such names as blogdigger, Feedster, and Technorati. I am sure there are tons more, but these three are the ones I am most familiar with. Any form of blogging that you are seeking to become a part of, will provide you with a great avenue of communication to those that affiliated with the same interest you have. Blogging is a great way to download or upload your thoughts, recent videos, as well as promote you business and keep your employees informed.
